In the hospital, Monday night must have been truly the most surreal
evening. Exciting, adventurous and full of surprises. We had full knowledge that our life would never be the same but didn't know what that meant; we only knew that we were to savor that special evening before the induction. We played our favorite card game, gin. We watched our favorite show on DVD, "The Office." We did a dance of banter and laughter with giddy excitement and sleepless terror looming in the background. 9 months of waiting for our sweet little one to arrive and here we are, savoring each other and our friendship built over the last three years in hope to teach our own son friendship and deep relationship.
